Srimoy Kar of Bhubaneswar Golf Club won the title in the Commander Cup Golf Tournament, which concluded here at the 120 Infantry Battalion Golf Course on Monday. While Srimoy emerged champion in the 0 to 18 handicap category, Satyajyoti Mohanty finished runner-up.
BGC golfers asserted supremacy in the two-day tournament, which featured around 40 competitors. Ranjit Singh, also from BGC, claimed the best gross prize, while prizes in 19 to 24 handicap, veterans and ladies categories were bagged by Anup Mohapatra, G S Gorcha and Lakhi Swain respectively.
RESULTS:
0-18 Handicap: Srimoy Kar (Champion), Satyajyoti Mohanty (Runner-up), Ranjit Singh (Best gross).
19-24 Handicap: Anup Mohapatra (Winner), Col Ranjit Singh (Runner-up).
Veterans: G S Gorcha (Winner), D P Misra (Runner-up).
Ladies: Lakhi Swain (Winner), Mansi Mohapatra (Runner-up).
Longest drive: Satyajyoti Mohanty.
Closest to the pin: Anand Rao.
